Emails include a PowerPoint slide entitled "CID Detainee Summary Briefing for the Director of the Army Staff," The summary discusses detainee abuse and deaths, highlighted among the deaths are the deaths of Abed Hamed Mowhoush, Zaydun Ma'mun Fadhil, Habib Rahman, and Dilawar. Also, included in the information are the Iraq and Afghanistan normal death rates, for instance, it states that the overall death rate for Iraqi citizens is 5.8 in 1,000 persons/year.

- This information paper describes the incidents which resulted in the death of Iraqi Major General and detainee, Abed Hamed Mowhoush. Major General Mowhoush was detained and transported to a temporary detention facility, between November 10-24, 2003. On November 26, 2003, Mr. Mowhoush was interrogated by Chief Warrant Officer Lewis E. Welshofer, Jr., Chief Warrant Officer Jeff L. Williams, Sergeant First Class William J. Sommer, and Specialist Jerry L. Loper. The officers placed Mr. Mowhoush into a sleeping bag, tied an electrical cord around his neck and then placed him on his back, while CW3 Welshofer sat on his stomach and placed his hands over Mr. Mowhoush's eyes and mouth. The position caused Mr. Mowhoush to convulse, CW3 Welshofer then rolled Mr. Mowhoush onto his stomach and CW3 Welshofer sat on Mr. Mowhoush's back, ultimately Mr. Mowhoush died of asphyxia.

- On January 3, 2004, an Iraqi national, Civilian, Mr. Zaydun Ma'mun Fadhil, drowned after being thrown off a bridge into the Tigris River by solders of the 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division. A First Lieutenant gave orders to his subordinates to have Mr. Fadhil and another victim forced into a river around the Samarra area of Iraq; Mr. Fadhil could not swim and drowned. The Investigation found a cover-up by the command that included the Lieutenant Colonel in command of the Battalion being reprimanded and admonished.
