  • 2003-09-11, FOB Packhorse (Camp Cougar), Iraq, Death
    • At the Forward Operating Base Packhorse detention facility, an Iraqi detainee died while in US custody. An enlisted Soldier while on and duty shot the detainee who was standing close to the perimeter wire. The Soldier was charged with murder. Soldier was reduced to E-1 and administratively discharged in lieu of trial by court-martial.
