The agent reports that prior to the interview, he noticed the detainee with a "black eye, facial cuts around the nose area, and his fingers on both hands were taped up". When the agent inquired, he was told it by the MP's the injuries were sustained in a "scuffle due to the detainee becoming non-compliant and had to be bought into compliance by a Rapid Response Team".
