Medical records of Iraqi male detainees who were injured during a prison riot in Abu Ghraib prison. A group of prisoners became unruly and guards used lethal force to subdue the crowd. The circumstances surrounding the incident were investigated by the CID (report 0139-04-CID789-83995).

    • Two Iraqi detainees, Fras Moazahim Habib and Husham Nafit Ghafar, died in U.S. custody at Abu Ghraib prison in Baghdad, Iraq. US guards used lethal force to subdue the crowd after prisoners became unruly. Two detainees was struck and killed. Husham Nafit Ghafar's cause of death was determined to be a shotgun wound to the head. Fras Moazahim Habib's cause of death was a shotgun wound to the chest. The manner of both deaths was homicide. Other detainees were injured during the course of the incident.
